Summertime Blues

Remember the Peacock Accent Pillows in sumptuous silks above from Springtime posting? We'll keep them around through Summertime, as they are BLUE!

Hello! If you're reading my 3rd Quarter Blog here, then you've taken a relaxing break off from whatever you're doing. Hopefully, you're on a summer vacation cruise, or by a lake, or even on a beach with one of those fancy drinks with an umbrella in it. Wherever you are this time of year it's bound to be fairly HOT temperatures. Let's take a look at some Summertime Blues to cool us off in these hot months of July, August and September. From photos of some of my favorite vacation spots, to blue theme room designs, this tour is certainly eclectic.

Those who know me say I am usually loquacious in my postings, but this Quarter, I'd just like to take you on a visual tour, since it is the season after all, for getting away to see great scenery, while cooling down. Refresh thyself.

"I didn't choose this career...it chose me when I first moved California. It lit a fire inside of me that has been burning now for over 30 years, and thankfully, it is a career that moves and changes with me as I grow myself. Since there are so many branches of design within our industry, it allows me to continually learn new information to apply to my projects. My clients are all unique in their styles. Reaching our design goals for their living environment is paramount, while creating an enjoyable and sound design journey along the way. We become a design team. With design in mind and desire at heart, we transform speaces into living art."

This blog is inspired by so many old and new friends alike, family members and clients. I want to express my gratitude for the many projects I have worked on for you, and for the ideas you have brought to the design table. People are the pearls and gems in life. Hone, renew and refine those relationships (personal or business) and you'll find your true treasure....your boat will come in.
